On draft at the brewpub on the night of the deer incident. Pours a clear liquid gold with a coppery tint and a medium sized white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, bubble gum and Belgian yeast. Taste of banana, Belgian yeast, cloves and light spice. Peppery. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 14, 2010
Tap at BT. I really liked this one. Pours a nice clear blonde pils-like with good white head. Aroma is bready, pils, crisp, mineral, toast, good fresh green herbal hops. Flavor is soft, pils malt, toast, light mineral and moderate bitterness, from a grassy green hoppiness, herbs and loaded with fresh german hops, get a slight fruitiness in the middle as it warms- honeydew melon? Strange but very good - crisp clean finish. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2011

Pours a hazy dark golden orange color with golden yellow hues and a one finger frothy white head. Good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. Streaks and spots of lacing left behind.
Floral, slightly earthy hop aroma with hints of grass and pine countered by sweet pale malt and crisp light fruit. Hints of grass and straw along with some biscuit, apple and pear. Very similar to a kolsch.
Full bodied with a spicy and earthy hop bite up front that lingers over the malt backbone and sweeter notes into a slight dry finish. Floral, piney hops provide a nice dryness without being overly bitter. Excellently balanced by the earthy notes of grass and straw along with hints of biscuit, apple and pear. Complex, flavorful and extremely quaffable.
Growler from pub. Thanks Catskill Bill! Hazy to clear appearance with a small white head. Aroma has great belgian characteristics. Right away almost has that typical Ommegang like yeast aroma and spice. Really solid. Flavor has a nice hop presence without being to bitter with a nice spice note. Also a bit green which I like. Almost fresh hop like with a bit of grassy tones. Very well balanced with the belgian yeast and german hops. Clean and smooth and really drinkable. Three pints went down like nothing. Could drink this all night. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2011

Draft at Victory. Poured a dark gold to amber with a white head. Light malt and citrusy hops in the nose. Hops focused on citrus, grapefruit rind. Quite bitter and lightly malty in the mouth, kind of a singular bitterness. Not as much sweetness as their normal IPA’s, though I could be wrong as I had this beside a lot of the lighter CBC offerings. My notes say "not terribly vibrant or exciting", so I’ll roll with that. egajdzis (6776) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2010
Golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, orange, tangerine, toffee, and toasted malts. Taste of citrus, toffee, toast, orange, some lemon peel, and a drier finish. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2010

A-pours a transparent golden color with a bubbly white head.
S-the nose is quite strong, lightly toasted biscuit up front with a good citrus hop presence and light pepper spice. There is also some honey in the back to add a bit more sweetness.
T-bready malts act as the backbone of this beer, the hop presence is mild but apparent in the back. notes of spice try to offset the sweet citrus and honey in the finish.
M-this is smooth on the palate and quite syrupy. a little low on carbonation to help balance the syrupy texture on the palate.
D-decent offering, a little sweet in the back but the pepper acts to try and balance that out adding a bit of complexity.
Nice light pale with a moderate head. Overly floral aroma but very smooth and a slight hop kick. Enjoyed on tap at the source. DocLock (11110) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 10, 2010
Draft at VBC. Pours hazy gold with white head. Nose is pale malt, hops, citrus, florals, spice. Tastes of pale malt, lemongrassy hops, slight funk, florals, spice. Medium palate heft and good complexity.
