Hazy orange colored body, medium sized white head, spotty lacing. Soft orange zest, grass, grainy cereals, and light toffee. Medium bodied, light bitterness, moderate sweetness. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Draft at coles, copper pour, fruity nose, fruity and floral bitterness in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel. Decent, nice for the style tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Growler from the brewery. Pours a fairly clean copper with dense beige head that dissipates to a thin covering with erratic spotted lace. Nose of bread, sweet malt and herbal hops. Lightish body with a fairly bitter finish. emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Pour is soft and slightly hazy, amber hued gold. Nose is just awful, smell like an infection. Medicinal and phenolic.... band aids and rotting citrus. Tastes like rotten citrus and peanut butter. Just terrible. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Draft. Pours golden amber with a white head. Sweet toffee malts, grainy, light flowery hops, and a light lingering generic bitterness. Pretty nondescript.

very nice aroma this brew has a fine malt and hop character to the taste as well. nice caramel malt provides backround to a tangerine citrus flavor slightly bitter with a sting and juicy. nice fuller body and mouthfeel with a burnt orange appearance. really nice lower alcohol brew. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 18, 2013
hazy orange-amber, white head dense, uniform, lasting. Low effervescence. Woody-tea bitterness leads nose, faint cream and grain. Flavor softer, frothy body mutes orange and wood, plastic bitterness emerging mid and lasting through light grass hops in the buttery finish. All the mandarinas showed light diacetyl, if not worse. Not as clean as most Victory, more hops and carbonation would also help. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Draft at Rattle with Ben. Pours a bright hazy reddish orange body with thin white lacing. Aroma is light grain, corn and maybe some citrus. Mouthfeel is super watery - really don’t like how this one feels; with again of dry citrus fruits, grain, malt and corn. LilBeerDoctor (4128) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2013
On tap. Pours a clearish orange brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of bready malt, citrus, jam, light fruits. Flavor of tart lemon cake up front with pale malts, light fruits, and jam. Tasty bitter, light and fruity. Lemony too.

On tap at the bocktown, nice place. Slight brownish colored pale ale. Nice thick creamy head. Clean beery aroma. Barely any co2 in there like most bitters but its presence is well accepted. Taste is refreshing and easy. Well behaved. More civilized than expected. Better than the average bitter I’ve tasted by far. Nice lacing, yes, goes down easy. Easy and quite civilized, not bad vickie. This is the best of the beers I tasted during this session.
