Tap at proof. Copper orange pour with white head. Smells like bitter burnt bread and old citrus peal. Aroma is a bit harsh but no really bad. Taste bitter and dry. Kind of reminds me of the crust of bread. Not too sure about this one. Slipstream (2677) - USA - JUL 3, 2013
Draft at Bronx Ale House. Solid ale - seemed like an APA to me. There is some citrus flavor and it might have a little orange in it, but if so there’s not much. It didn’t really grab me. PHChikka (25) - - JUL 2, 2013
On draft @ brewpub. Exact same amber color as three other beers in my flight, but the head is least pronounced on this. The beer has this weird English/German vibe. More The Beatles’ "Sie Liebt Dich" than Bowie’s "Helden", I’m afraid, but still above average. jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with thin off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is British sweet malts, orange, and caramel. Taste follows, more malty up front, bready, then falls into orange. Not bad, interesting. yespr (47039) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2013
From tap at City Tap House. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is herbal, toasted malty and breadish. Breadish, light butterish and herbal. Bitter and dry malty finish.

On draft at the blue Monkey. Every thing that has been said so far is on the money. Toast, caramel, citrus and bittering hops. This in the body, but not a bad brew. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Draft at Fermentation. Glowing orange pour with a bubbly white head. Nose is zesty citrus with hints of spiciness, bready and biscuit malts. Sweet citrusy flavor with toast malts and light note of grassy spice on the back end. Pretty tasty. NikkTwist (3305) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Draft at Strangeloves. Light amber. Foamy ring. Seeing a slight oily sheen off the top. Very nice golden wheat flavors. One of the better American versions of this style. Leafs93 (2332) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, toast and caramel. Taste is sweet with light bitters. Medium to light bodied with crisp finish. ganache (6029) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Draft from JC’s. Pours transparent deep orange with lovely copper low-lights and a soapy beige head. Nose pleasantly of caramel and crystal malt and balanced hops, orange peel with lighter floral and spicy notes. There’s a nice English character to the nose but it’s also clear this is half-American. Taste is very dry with medium bitterness, light body, caramel and a little earthy toffee, some crystal coming through but it’s minimal, the hops are soapy, mild citrus and a little noble spice. Hints of wood and grass, but they’re only hints. Very nice cleansing hops but the character becomes a little bland with volume. Still, a great session ale and quasi-English -- easy to down five or six.
