A blend of German pils and caramel malts combine with German Mandarina and dry-hopped Mandarina to create a full bodied, crisp-hopped brew with a pleasant bitter finish and lots of hope flavor.

Pours a clear golden yellow on two with fluffy white head that leaves light lacing. Aroma of nice virus notes, not sure if it’s the added orange or hops. Taste is like a really citrus hops forward pale ale, really nice and pleasant, slightly bitter finish.

jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 23, 2017
Draft at Ginger Man with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a clear golden body with thick two finger head. Nose is grassy hops, crisp spice, malt and pils. Mouthfeel is carbonated and crisp with grainy palate and bitter hops. Soft cat piss and grass followed by malt.

NikkTwist (3406) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Draft at Khyber Pass. Slightly hazy gold pour with a frothy top that left some light lace. Lots of citrus pith. Clementine peels. Orange pips. Grassy and earthy notes as well. Wildflower honey. Spicy finish.

RespertFTW (520) - Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Draft. Amber yellow. Everything is heavy citrus. Lots of grapefruit flavor and some accompanying bitterness.

cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2013
Pour is transparent amber with a creamy white head. Nose is extremely faint, slightly doughy and caramel balanced by some soft tropical fruit hop aromas. Taste is very different. Extremely doughy mixed with caramel, might be a touch of diacetyl in this. Tropical fruit hops, mangos and berries, more dough in the finish with a lightly lingering bitterness. Body is a touch syrupy with moderate carbonation.

MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2013
On draft at Blue Monkey. Interesting brew, notes of citrus, grapefruit, bread and caramel malts. I don’t agree with the claim that it is full bodied. It was ok.

Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Pours amber gold with a small white head. Aroma is tropical citrus, caramel and floral. Taste is sweet with moderate bitters. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and slick texture. Liked this the most of the CBC offerings.

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013
On tap at Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Creamy head with a clear amber body.
Aroma: Caramel with some citrus, melon and grass.
Taste: Light bitterness, good balance of tangerine and caramel.
Palate: Medium body, medium carbonation.
Overall: Solid pale ale, good balance.

MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2013
thickest of CBC heads, thickest lacing, light crater forms but small bubbles consistent throughout. Nose initially diacetyl but it blows off, biting orange cream soda, light acidity giving bounce. Flavor still riddled with diacetyl hints, orange dominates early, buttery mod with slick, fruit finish, light grain emerging but not enough to cut errors. Thin body, lower carbonation can’t mask.

Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2013
This one poured a medium orange color with an off white head. Aroma was citrusy and grassy hops, light biscuits and some butter. Butter was more prominant in the taste, probably some diacetyl, hops keep it drinkable.
