transparent tan-amber, frothy white ring. Flavor a bit bubblegum sweet and overhopped. Grainy finish, lemon zest, light sweetness, marginally dry. Not bad, but too much victory, not dry enough or showing enough interplay with the yeast and grain. blipp (9501) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 5, 2011

In short: A clean, semi-rustic, moderately-dry and fruity Saison. Refreshing session beer. Niceyespr (46530) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2011
How: Tap at Capones PA, first RBSG 2011 bus-trip pit-stop
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is a bit rustic with some fruity pineapples notes as well as some flowers. Taste is refreshing fruits (tropical fruits), dried flowers, some dried fruits. Not quite as dry as I would have liked it to be but the beer still has some Saison rusticity and it was very clean and highly drinkable. I’m not surprised to see this basic session Saison underrated, this is undeniable statistics, American ratebeerians don’t enjoy basic dry session Saison. It is also undeniable statistics that 9 out of 10 people reading this rating is literate. The 10th one is gay (and also literate).
