4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of caramel and malt. Tastes of caramel and biscuit. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of orange bubblegum, clove. Taste has lightly sour citrus. Tasty.

Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was of banana, light clovey spicey, yeast, and lemon Peel. Flavor was sweet and spicey forward, lacking the bubblegumy lemony tang that I enjoy.

3.6
solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 23, 2015
Pretty decent strong hefeweizen. Borders on weizenbock status, with higher alcohol and complexity. Hazy yellow pour with decent head. Light sweet finish. Tap at Churchkey.

3.3
DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Pint on tap at Dutch’s. Clear amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves nice thicker splotches of lace. Up front, definitely a strange beer -- not what you expect from a hefeweizen. Sort of spicy, light metallic. Bready wheat. Toasty malt. Touch of banana. Earthy. Medium-plus body. Smooth, soft light to moderate carbonation, with a very dry finish. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter taste. An ok German-style wheat beer. Not going to call this a hefeweizen (even though it’s currently listed as such on Ratebeer) -- I’m convinced that this is not a hefe. Probably closest to a weizenbock. Bit rough on it’s own, but decent to enjoy with some food (cold pizza in my case). Seemed to improve a bit as I went.

3.4
reggiedunlop (3718) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2015
Pours a slightly clear amber with a medium white head...seems darker this year. Aroma has notes of guava and pepper...mild melon. Flavor follows suit...some light grains peeking through. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and earthy/guava/peppery.

3.4
MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 25, 2014
murky gold with puffy lacing, odd contrasted nose, moldy wood with bubblegum esters, nose is way too husky, front is banana and grains, muddled pepper before heavy sweet mid with bubblegum and plenty of sugar, medicinal finish in heavy wheat cracker finish, pepper still lingering with snappy toasted grain bill and light banana. Very well rounded weissbier in finish, front rocky.

3.4
boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 18, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has coriander and some pepper. The taste is sweet orange, dry orange finish.

3.3
gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2014
Draught at CBC, April 8 2014.
Hazy yellow color, white head. Sweet, phenolic scent. Phenolic, clove taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness,

3.5
egajdzis (6501) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 27, 2014
Clear dark golden color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, spice, and light alcohol. Taste was sweeter, bananas, cloves some vanilla, tart wheat, and some lighter alcohol in the finish.
