Bitter aroma, bitter flavor, bitter aftertaste - bitter. No fruity or citrus flavors, only bitter IPA (as expected with this style). I knew I wouldn’t like the taste, but I do like Victory Brewing and I admit it is a cool name and labeling. On a final positive note, the overwhelming bitterness hides the 8.7%ABV very well. Regardless, one was enough for me. Fules (1233) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - APR 23, 2017
Nagy, tartós hab, borostyán szín. Nehéz, citrusos, déligyümölcsös illatok. Lágy, krémes déligyümölcsös, barackos, citrusos ízvilág, kissé karcos fenyős keserűvel és némi gyantával. Testes, mégis könnyen itatja magát, erősen szénsavas, nagyon keserű. Igazi gyümölcskavalkád, feltűnően krémes lágyságát karcos keserű ellenpontozza. Finom sör.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of resin, citrus, grapefruit peel, mandarin, honey and floral/resiny hops. Malty, hoppy taste with mandarin, tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, lychee), grapefruit, resin, honey and quite a bitter finish with lots of resiny hops. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Not really very balanced, quite bitter and a bit boozy after a while. But really tasty, with an impressive hop presence. Very nice. Chapterhouse. Bra öl med fyllig och rund smak. En fyllighet som övergår i en beska jag önskar vore något kraftigare. En fruktighet helt i min smak. wombat23 (1425) - Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2017
Draft at Yard House, The LINQ, Las Vegas. Clear gold, white head. Citric aroma. Taste is citrus, pine, grapefruit, caramel. Bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Illinois brought back to Texas. Fairly clear, orange, foamy head. Some sediment in the bottom of the glass. Aroma is a bit old, some fruity notes, hops, Dank notes. Flavor is hops, dried leaves. Dry bitterness on the finish. New World hops. Not fresh hops, but they are there. Would probably be better on tap fresh. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 15, 2017
Dark copper color with a smaller, dense head of taupe bubbles. Heavy lace. Sweet toasted malt aromas, with strong pine and very mild berries. Sweet start with pale malts and hints of rye. Somewhat prickly feel. Nice balancing bitterness that allow the berries to come back out in the finish. Even the linger has a bit more berry presence than I would have expected. Some spiciness, leads me to believe there might be some rye in the malt bill. Either way a tasty IIPA in my book. 2/17

Tastes amazing. I enjoy it a lot. Highly recommend picking it up. Slokill motherfuckeeeeer Sheef (4) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 6, 2017 does not count
This earthy, dank offering tastes like someone left soiled garden gloves in the tank. I am all for innovative beers but Dirt Wolf is an apt name for this rough, unpleasant beer. I am trying to think of a scenario where this would be the most appealing beer I could wish for.
I am still pondering. oobawa (1416) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 6, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2017 Solid old-style IBU-packed West Coast IPA, bitter hop forward and mildly ganja-ish. Starts with a slice of toast slathered with orange marmalade, then gains a mineral heaviness backed up by a grassy hop middle. Finishes dry and bitter, pinecone blending with lemon zest and a mild boozy punch. Tasty, and surprisingly deep considering the weak nose.
