Draft in Lancaster. New standard for double IPA. Hoppy, nice unfiltered haze, with a wonderful flavor. the 8.7 alcohol is completely hidden by the hops. Not bitter, just a perfect citrus aroma and taste. lighter than hop wallop, a good thing. one of the best beers i have had in my 40 years of drinking beers. Perfection attained. drpimento (3639) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 21, 2014
Man, they nailed this sucker. Killer appearance, aroma, flavor, palate, finish, the whole ball of wax. Can really drink the hell out a this beer.

Appearance- semi cloudy/hazy, honey gold hue. Decent foamy bone white head that dissipates evenly and leaves good lacing.
Smell- it’s got that "cat pee" thing going on. Obvious welcome overwhelming piney, resiny nose.
Taste- hop hop hoppy! Perfect level of bitterness. Pine upfront that lasts throughout with a little bit of a sweet honey center.
Mouthfeel- so smooth! Big (but not too big), full flavored. Goes down easy for a DIPA (could get in trouble with this one if not keeping count).
Overall- excellent! Outstanding! There’s a lot going on in this beer, without too much going on (you know what I mean). Get it! Enjoy it!
Cheers all! LeRoytheAlien (55) - Kennesaw, Georgia, USA - JAN 6, 2015
My absolute favorite beer. Golden, full of pungent piney citrus dank hops, taste is dominated by tropical fruits, grassy funk and a snap of bitter. Finished clean and heady. A perfect DIPA. AlbusDumbledor (17) - Rome, ITALY - FEB 8, 2015

Birra buonissima, che fa dell’equilibrio r della complessità del sapore, oltre che dell’odore, il suo punto forte. Non la più amara del lotto, non blanda ma sicuramente equilibrata bene come poche. Birra buonissima. dirtyhop (9) - Michigan, USA - FEB 14, 2015 does not count
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2017 Darkly heroic, Humulus Lupulus (hops) have empowered brews with bite and character since the 11th century. DirtWolf is a tribute to these untamed vines which rise from the earth with the voracity of a ’wolf among sheep.’ Hops have made an assertive comeback in American craft brewing. Revel in the best US varieties of hops, in their natural, whole flower form, as they bring a vital, pungent reality to the soul of a wild element in our dangerously satisfying DirtWolf. Difficult to describe the appeal of the leaf-litter type of flavor and aroma of this fantastically great-tasting beer! Reminiscent of a handful of loose, dark, composting leaf dirt from the woods. Only downside is the high alcohol & price tag. Fashawn (601) - ITALY - FEB 9, 2015
Birra irripetibile. Capolavoro. Dbree22 (11) - Dunedin, Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2013
