Draft at Cottonwood - Pours dark, creamy head. Lots of roast, coffee, a little bit of chocolate. Medium bodied, creamy at first, slightly chalky towards the end. Pretty simple and straightforward. Draft at Eureka, Boulder. Lasting (nitro) head. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, coffee, dark chocolate), with a light note of minerals. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
This has a pretty inviting (if basic) aroma, but nitrogen utterly ruins it in the mouth, where it’s incredibly thin and watery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully on board for a 3.7% stout, but nitrogen is a terrible choice for such a light body (it’s a terrible choice for any beer, IMHO, but especially for such a diminutive brew). Nitro on tap at KSQ. Black with a solid, though not thick, head, excellent retention and lacing. Roasted malt aroma and flavors, with a slight bitterness. Some coffee and chocolate. Medium body, minimal carbonation, soft creamy mouthfeel and a dry finish.

Kind of like a super Guinness. Dark, cola colored beer with a white head. Faint aromas of chocolate. Tastes of mild chocolate, watery coffee, and some roasted grains. On tap at Victory in Downingtown. It pours a dark mahogany color with a khaki head. The aroma is balanced smoke and roasted malt. The flavor is the same with a little hint of anise, roast and smoke.
