The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 6, 2010
Draught - nitro. Almost black with auburn hue. Head is huge and thick, akin to a beige cloud. Aroma of light grains, light chocolate, vanilla, cream. Taste is creamy vanilla, lighter sugar sweetness. Texture is thin and nitro makes palate exceptionally smooth.

Nitro pour, jet black with a ridiculous lace that follows with each sip... the head stays almost too long, its like drinking through little air bubbles with each sip... velvety texture, minimal roastiness for the style... touch dry in the finish.. Needs a bit more flavor, but very very good...

Draft at the pub. swing and a miss. just another not-very-good dry stout, not a whole heck of a lot to say. with so many delicious offerings available at the pub, it was kind of a tragedy that I ordered this.

Prometheus (160) - Bamberg, Bavaria, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2010
Pours black with small off-white head. Strong roasted malts flavor. No hops came through. Not bad with some decent flavors though nothing special.

MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 31, 2009
Black with a white head. Nose mainly of milk chocolate and light roast, none of the hops showing. Flavor shows a light balance as the hops emerge, but again, this is stout dominated with roasted malt dominating. No carbonation, which is ok but continues the lack of balance. Meh, still has a significant lead over Guinness.

Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Nitro. Pours brune body with a tan head. Dry roasted malt, some light chocolate, very thin and session-able, a craft brewers spin on a common macro stout with more flavor despite the lower abv. Clean soft, with a creamy body courtesy of the nitro.

fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 29, 2009
Draught at Pony Bar, New York
Dark mahogany color; creamy head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Dry dark caramel flavor, light ashes in the end. Simple Dunkel.

Bricks (1150) - Delaware, USA - DEC 15, 2009
On draft at PHL -- Smells of roasted barley, but its a very faint aroma. Beer pours dark brown with a slight amber tinge. You can tell from the head that its going to be weak. Taste is spicier than avg for a stout. Palate is smooth, but very watered down, as is the taste.

swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 11, 2009
Draft @ Coles, Buffalo NY> Dark brown/black casading pour. Tan guinness like head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Taste is same as aroma. Decent mouthfeel, nice sessionable stout

TreborWhip (393) - Reading, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 15, 2009
Sampler at the brew pub. One word to describe this stout is SMOOTH. The taste of creamy roasted malts with very low alcohol content.
