The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

on tap at Two Rivers Brewing Company in Easton PA; nitro; black with a roasted malt aroma; very smooth and quite light; nice roasted malt flavor with mild coffee notesl velvety, silky mouthfeel

Pours incredibly like a Guinness but similarities ended there. Rather chewy palate and unbalanced finish. Almost unbalanced towards a hoppy taste. Rather disappointing offering from such a brewer as Victory.

On tap served in pint glass. Mild flavor to the point of blandness, far more interesting dry stouts are out there. Clean finish.

" fairly standard nitro dry stout - a little disappointing after several other styles had been well above average. thin bodied, with not enough dryness or smoke. chocolate and a little roasted malt present. skippable."

Sample at The Brew Kettle on 9/14/14. Darkest brown pour with a thick tan nitro head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and roast. Malty and chocolatey flavor with a very watery finish.

Draft. Nice dry light stout. Mild roasted and coffee, light finish, on nitro

maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - JUL 27, 2014
On tap, nitro version. Dark brown almost black pour with frothy beige cascading head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Taste of roasted malts, faint chocolate and faint coffee. Light bodied, low nitro carbonation, thin watery mouthfeel, slightly dry finish.

On tap at Brunzies. Nice roasty aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee, and smoke. Dark brown-black opaque with creamy beige lacing head. Medium body on nitro tap. Mild flavors, light lactose, and rich roasted malt. Some coffee and chocolate. Mild carbonic tang and light malt bitterness. Nutty finish with clean after.

Draft on nitro. Black body, nitro bubbles. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, smooth texture, nitro carbonation. Dry finish. The sweetness in this beer doesn’t pair well with the burnt roasted malts.
