The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

This is absolutely one of my favorite beers to get on tap. Black with HUGE creamy head. Bitter coffee flavor and light in alcohol, so many can be had.

Draft at Cottonwood - Pours dark, creamy head. Lots of roast, coffee, a little bit of chocolate. Medium bodied, creamy at first, slightly chalky towards the end. Pretty simple and straightforward. Not great, not bad, seems like a decent St. Paddys session beer.

Draft at Eureka, Boulder. Lasting (nitro) head. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, coffee, dark chocolate), with a light note of minerals. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. This has a pretty inviting (if basic) aroma, but nitrogen utterly ruins it in the mouth, where its incredibly thin and watery. Dont get me wrong, Im fully on board for a 3.7% stout, but nitrogen is a terrible choice for such a light body (its a terrible choice for any beer, IMHO, but especially for such a diminutive brew). Definitely needs more bitterness too.

Nitro on tap at KSQ. Black with a solid, though not thick, head, excellent retention and lacing. Roasted malt aroma and flavors, with a slight bitterness. Some coffee and chocolate. Medium body, minimal carbonation, soft creamy mouthfeel and a dry finish.

A nice creamy aroma. Absolutely beautiful creamy pour. The flavor is much thinner than the appearance , which is too be expected given the alcohol content. An imperialized version of this would be much better.

On tap, Top Hops Beer Shop, NYC, 11.5.16. Erez. Black with a creamy tan head. Lots of coffee, a little cocoa and earthy baked potato in the nose, smooth cocoa and soft bitterness in the mouth. Rather light-bodied, chocolatey finish and smooth.

Kind of like a super Guinness. Dark, cola colored beer with a white head. Faint aromas of chocolate. Tastes of mild chocolate, watery coffee, and some roasted grains. Bittersweet, somewhat lactic, finish. Very dry on the mouth feel but very smooth. Tasty and easy to drink.

On tap at Victory in Downingtown. It pours a dark mahogany color with a khaki head. The aroma is balanced smoke and roasted malt. The flavor is the same with a little hint of anise, roast and smoke. Low carbonation. Pretty watery on the palate, but understandable for the low ABV. Ok.

On tap at Victory Brewing. Pours black. Odd carbonation in glass for nitro. Like a better Guinness. Dark by not heavy.

Deep brown pour with classic nitro head. Aroma is coffee, crystal and toasted malt. Flavor is light coffee, hints of coffee, some toasted malts. Thin mouthfeel. Maybe the tastiest below-session beer Ive ever had.
