Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear amber appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of toasted grain, light caramel malt, light noble hops and hints of fruit and toffee. Similar flavor, adding mild malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Average body with a creamy feel. Smooth, balanced and easy to drink overall.

Pours with a frothy head with good retention. Bright amber hue that shows very well to the light. Aromas of doughy bread and herbal hops. Medium body laying down a slick and crisp mouth feel. Toasted malt and soft herbal hop runs across the palate. Chewy with a hit of caramel in the middle. The sweet maltiness with nutty toasted grain dominates this extremely tasty brew. Herbal hops are noticeable with an ample bitterness and long lingering delicious , semi-dry, faint toasted grain finish. My new favorite for the style.

12 ounce bottle. Mid brown with a beige layer of foam. A holiday spice aroma with some earth and rich malts. Lager yeast. The flavor begins with all of the above. I taste figs and tangerine with bready malts and yeast. Light spices.

Pours two fingers of head on a clear dark straw body. Aroma is lots of grain, hay and earth. Taste has a malty sweet, but balanced bitter. Fresh bread. Texture is thicker.
