Pours a clear copper-amber into the glass, with a light head that dissipates to trace wispy lacing. The nose is very multi with a touch of subtle grains. Flavors are of caramel, toffee, a burnt candy note, light bitters and a burnt toffee finish. The medium body and semi–zesty mouthfeel make for a decent Oktoberfest. On the lighter side of a harvest Vienna, it does enjoy decent quaffability, and provides a nice tribute to the pure German fest style.

12 ounce bottle. Deep copper color with a small creamy beige head. Toasted malt nose with notes of caramel, cooked beets and toast. Flavor is more of the same with a hint of toasted nuts and brown sugar. Slightly metallic notes in midtaste. Cloying mouthfeel with a smooth spicy hop finish. Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear dark amber. Quick one finger head, no real lacing with little retention. Aroma caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is mainly malty sweet, with just a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of caramel, biscuit, tree nuts, grass and herbs.
