I drank this beer at the Oktoberfest at the Village of Shirlington in Arlington, VA in 2001and it was just great.
12oz bottle. Slightly hazed orange amber with a thin off-white head. Smooth pale malt, cracker, toffee sweetness, nuts, cereal. Mild hops. Smooth malt finish. weitz15 (593) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 17, 2017
Light amber pour, spiced aroma. Medium malted body, with a light watery finish. fidemaster (334) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2017
Nice aroma of bread baking. Deep orange color with a decent head. Very watery. Starts off bitter, then you get a burnt taste. It has a strong, horribly bitter finish. I hated it, sorry victory.

Smooth, malty, almost like a roasted cracker. Not your typical Oktoberfest beer.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with dense big, lasting, off-white head. Malty nose with treacle-toffee, dried fruit, figs, crisp-bread, wort and caramel. Malty taste with notes of treacle-toffee, dried fruit, wort, caramel, a slightly sharp malt profile and a finish with a mild bitterness and a slight acidity. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. A bit sharp and unbalanced, but decently drinkable. Enjoyable. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2017
Bottle. Dark copper color. Biscuity toasty aroma. Some sweetness. Flavor has sweetness, lots of bready grain. Caramel notes. Not a Festbier, more like a Marzen. basaywhat (302) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma of caramel, sweet fruits, bread, and roasted malts. Has a nice balance between sweet malts and bitter hops. A dry smooth finish. Not too bad. Dorkenstein (563) - - JAN 25, 2017
Bottle says enjoy by 19 dec 2016. Rated on 1/25/17. Aromas of toffee, honey, caramel, and some wet leaves. Taste is caramel, toffee, mineral water, and slight toast. honey, wet leaves in the finish. More toast and wet leaves in the after taste. I imagine it hasn’t fallen off too much. Carlisle (781) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2017
Draft. Pours copper with light beige head that dissipates quickly. Bready malt and caramel flavors.
