Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

I really like this beer. It's my favorite of the easily found tripels(New Belgium, etc.). I like it as much as I can a tripel...it's just not my favorite style(of the Belgian styles). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Oh man, my review vanished.

Pours a golden color. Lots of sediment, and chunks floating about. Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head is white, took several attempts to pour it all into the glass.

Aroma is bready, spicy, banana, grape, brown sugar, yeast.

Taste is much of the same. Yeast, coriander. Brown sugar, banana. Ooh, touch of vanilla. Banana.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. You taste and feel the alcohol right away. Well, not so much taste it, but detect it. Smooth, but slightly astringent.

Overall, this is pretty good. I like it. Its both easy and hard to drink. I would probably buy it again, if the price was right.

Nice golden pour with a light, white head and a little haziness. Flavor is yeasty and sweet - a spicy fruit flavor with hints of honey and a soft alcohol finish. Perhaps not the finest beer but a very enjoyable experience nonetheless.

One of the best beers you will taste. Smooth, complex and easily drinkable.

355ml can picked up at Vinmonopolet Hamar. A near-clear warm golden body, fair white head, clingy lacing. Rather strong aroma of spiced fruit, with scent of alcohol. Mixed taste profile of citrus peels, mid-sweet malts, and alcohol. Dried fruity ending. Well bodied and rather smooth. Decent stuff, not exactly easy to drink (Shared with friends 04.03.2017).

This beer is ideal for drinking with homemade pad thai and a podcast about mafia men tying up a doctor to steal his medical grade drugs and accidentally entrapping themselves but getting off from a trial by claiming to be kinky and gay. A classic, smooth tripel that pours a golden and clear color, with some strong spicyness. Not as sweet or wheaty as other tripels weve rated, but still a nice unique brew. The 9.5% is disguised well and this one is deceptively drinkable. In a world where $9 big bottles of belgians are the norm, this one is always a great deal with six packs running $10-$13 usually.

Pours golden yellow with a small white head. Spicy, yet sweet, aroma of clove, caramel and sweet malts with some booze. Taste is a combination of sweetness and spices: creamy caramel, clove, coriander, biscuits and sweet malts. Definitely boozy taste. Medium to full bodied, mild carbonation, average hoppiness balancing quite nicely. Perhaps a bit too sweet. This is one strong Belgian Ale.

From a fresh bottle, pours a thick golden color with lots of lacing, some thin white foam. Aroma of Belgian yeast and ester, with some funky tangy orange and spice. Flavor is predominantly a mellow understated Belgian yeast with a caramel malt base, along with some extra warm sugariness. Medium bodied, smooth, warming, not bad for a relatively mass-produced Belgian style, not as impressive or as authentic as other Belgian ales, but enjoyable. I particularly liked the stronger malty presence to this brew, along with the more predictable Belgian yeasty notes. Another quality brew from Victory.

Golden Amber in colour, big head and lacing all the way down the glass. Nose is of brown sugar, malts and cloves. Taste is fairly similar with a caramel\burnt sugar taste dominating similar to the likes of Leffe Brune, cloves, coriander and winter spice on the finish. Compared to Trappist beers this was a bit thin. Price Paid: 2 - 330ml bottle on clearance.
