Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Hints of spice with a hoppy finsh. Hazy yellow in color. Not what I expected. I would get again.

Deep gold with a white head. Honey and floral aroma. Sweet malty, boozy and full bodied. Nice but could be drier.

Pours gold with a light haze. The white head soon fades. Aroma is bubblegum, apple juice, fresh dough, spice. Taste is mostly sweet but with a complex undertones: bubblegum, apple, plum, pepper, clove. An interesting mixture that works. The finish is long, dry, bittersweet, spicy, and warming. Body is medium with a nicely balanced carbonation. Excellent.

Bottle from Hofstetten: Aroma ist a nice mix of fruits, yeast and spices. Notes of oranges, grain, honey, Belgian yeast, candies. Flavour is also very fruity with oranges, candies and honey but also herbal hops. Ends light herbal bitter. Nice and round.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma of Belgian spice, yeast, fruit. Taste is bubble gum, fruit, clove, Belgian spice, yeast, honey notes. Alcohol is well hidden - this could be dangerous. Excellent.

Aroma: light belgian spice with some apple juice; Appearance: clear golden pour with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: brighter and more complex than aroma; tons of additional spice; Palate: medium body with long spicy finish; Overall: not my favorite tripel but decent.

Has a sweet malted taste, with a a strong bite for a finish. A delicious end to an evening.

Goodness above, That’s a crashing amount of things going on, Lovely aroma does not prepare you for the explosion in the mouth of softness and a giant harshness and tart dryness that flows, sweet, sharp, soft and brutish. Loved it !
