4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had it as part of a sampler pack, and although it was the worst of the 4 beers its still a 4/5 for me, gonna be looking for more Victory beers in the future. It’s like a restrained version of an IPA, where they stop dumping in hops when you’ve established a nice smooth, tasty beverage.
Bottle. Pours a nice pale yellow.
Aroma. sweet floral aroma.
Taste. mild but still noticeable piney bitterness up front, followed by grapefruit and tropical flavours.
Overall. quite a good beer, near it's expiry, so may of gotten a better score if it was more fresh. AcctError487340 (42) - - DEC 25, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2017 Can from Beer Hawk. Pours clear amber, white foam head. Clean, fresh hop taste and a pleasing hop bite. Refreshing explosivedog (1808) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 19, 2017
355ml bottle. Pours orange. Floral, orange, tea, earthy, herbal, nice biscuit finish. Pretty nice. Davros IX (571) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2017
Can at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. Very American with the shouty hops and sweetness and although pleasant enough the abv is too strong for it to be sessionable. Benters (136) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2017
Pours a clear golden colour with thin white head and average carbonation. Big New World hop aromas, lemons and oranges and a slight spiciness. Taste is medium bodied, big citrus fruity flavours with a lemony tartness, caramel from the malt and grapefruit and piney flavours coming from the hops. Really crisp and refreshing with a clean, bitter hop linger. Enjoyable American IPA.

Clear deep amber colour with medium white foam. Aromas sweet of honey, hops with tropical fruit notes and slight hints of orange peel and peppers. Palate, medium body with smooth texture leaving dry finish. Taste, little watery, peppery and soily with herbal bitter hop notes. Overall, interesting brew not too hoppy but still has bit of a punch. darrylswift (16) - - DEC 9, 2017
Appearance was good, with a nice creamy head. Aroma was good too, citrusy (seems to be the case for many ales!). However, it was quite bitter! Not sure I could handle more than a couple.

Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is grass, malt, bread. Taste is lemon, malt, leading to an earthy, slightly bitter finish that lingers for a good while. Thin bodied, low carbonation. Pretty nice! hellrunner (14) - - DEC 7, 2017
Very nice looker, Fairly nice taste.
Jen preferred it to Andy but we’d both have again

Can. A well hopped ale, but with a good biscuit malt base to balance it. This comes across more as an English than American ale to me. Quite earthy, but with hints of citrus fruit too.
