3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden color on tap with fluffy white head that laces nicely. Aroma of hops, citrus, dank freshness. Taste follows, really fresh with a nice page malt back. Really nice, drinkable pale ale.
Can at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. Very American with the shouty hops and sweetness and although pleasant enough the abv is too strong for it to be sessionable. Benters (97) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2017
Pours a clear golden colour with thin white head and average carbonation. Big New World hop aromas, lemons and oranges and a slight spiciness. Taste is medium bodied, big citrus fruity flavours with a lemony tartness, caramel from the malt and grapefruit and piney flavours coming from the hops. Really crisp and refreshing with a clean, bitter hop linger. Enjoyable American IPA. lokis333 (593) - Biržai, LITHUANIA - DEC 10, 2017
Clear deep amber colour with medium white foam. Aromas sweet of honey, hops with tropical fruit notes and slight hints of orange peel and peppers. Palate, medium body with smooth texture leaving dry finish. Taste, little watery, peppery and soily with herbal bitter hop notes. Overall, interesting brew not too hoppy but still has bit of a punch. darrylswift (9) - - DEC 9, 2017 does not count
Appearance was good, with a nice creamy head. Aroma was good too, citrusy (seems to be the case for many ales!). However, it was quite bitter! Not sure I could handle more than a couple.

Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is grass, malt, bread. Taste is lemon, malt, leading to an earthy, slightly bitter finish that lingers for a good while. Thin bodied, low carbonation. Pretty nice!

Can. A well hopped ale, but with a good biscuit malt base to balance it. This comes across more as an English than American ale to me. Quite earthy, but with hints of citrus fruit too. Gary (2088) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 26, 2017
330ml can. in a Duvel tulip : Golden beer with a decent creamy head. Hoppy lemon grapefruit and crackers nose : Drinks with an assertive bitterness that's fruity , dry and crisp. A light malt backdrop with an ok feature . a bit thin . This would be best sank down on a hot july morning doing redneck things . jonas (8157) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 8, 2017
Bottle, slightly over BB. Deep amber, low head. Light resinny aroma, honey, oldschool. Crystal malt sweet base, light paper/oxidized. grassy, light cheesy, resinny. Ok despite its age. tranzzik (69) - Sieradz, POLAND - SEP 7, 2017
355 ml bottle (BB 28.09.2017). Beer of an orange-deep gold colour, with a small head. The aroma is fruity, grainy, with some notes of something like butter or a pancake. The taste is quite fine, piney, caramel sweet with some herbs. The bitterness is moderate and pleasant. Solid beer, although I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't 3 weeks from expiring.
