UPDATED: OCT 8, 2016 Medium smell of honey and flowers, flowery on front end but too hoppy and pilsnery on finish...unique but not in a good way... luckily it smoothes out with time...at Andy’s wedding reception Greer,sc Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Draft at beggar's banquet. Smells citrusy with a bit of BO. Tart tang with a very grassy and hay finish. hman43 (1612) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - APR 13, 2013
Decent head with body. Nice golden color. Nice citrus aroma. Strong citrus taste but a little more carbonation than expected that takes away from the taste. Overall a quality brew. GMCC2181 (1611) - Newark, Delaware, USA - MAR 4, 2011
Bottle picked up at stateline... Great looking pale ale... Monster head, lots of lacing, copper/orange color. Average aroma of some hop and bready maltiness. Taste is a crisp clean hoppy pale ale.. Hops are light and fruity...slight grass and hay...Body of the lighter side... Overall: A nice pale ale. Good job Victory. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear orange, white head. Smells very malty, bready. Tastes bitter, dirty, slight grapefruit. Good.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Pretty strong aroma of citrus and pine hops and some caramel malts. Flavor wasn’t as strong as I was hoping. Citrus and pine hops up front with not much on the finish. A little disappointing. flatmatt (1587) - Northville, Michigan, USA - SEP 17, 2011
12 oz bottle that says "enjoy by Sept 19 2011." Hmm. Pours a clouded light amber with a white head. Aroma is honeyish at first, some stale floral hop aroma, stale biscuit. Flavor is biscuit, again rather stale, light honey, stale herbal and citrus hops. This doesn’t seem to have held up that well. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - APR 23, 2011
Pours a copper/amber with a manilla head. Really nice mix of PacNW hops and herbal noble hops along with some toastiness. Flavor has notes of caramel, noble hops, grapefruiit/pine, lemon, grass and toasty malts. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Nothing you haven’t had before, but man, this is a pleasure to drink. flying_pig (1579) - SCOTLAND - JUN 9, 2017

Disappointing stuff here from Victory, the beer opened well with nice tropical fruits & a lot of pine with some citrus in there as well but in both the nose & the taste these all passed quickly & left little more than a bland, basic beer that was more lager than pale ale. There was the odd touch of earthy bitterness, a faint hint of floral & some biscuit malts but none of these was overly pronounced & the beer just seemed boring & weak throughout; I’d expected much better.
Translucent copper with a lasting beige head,
Aroma: sweet pale and caramel malt, fresh juicy citrus piney hops.
Taste: citrus piney hops, some caramel malt, and a bit of bready yeast.
Nicely balanced but hop-forward APA, showcasing american ingredients.
