On tap, of all places, Moon Golf Club in Moon PA. Although not great, not a bad beer. Strong balance of hops and malts, good head retention, bready flavor, enjoyable. Good brew for an APA. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUN 10, 2011
Slight hazy gold, thin beige head. Aroma of grain and oranges. Taste is more bitter than most APA’s, decent amount of grapefruit and resin, good malt balance too, could use more floral and lighter citrus hop flavor. Still a great beer though, just more like an IPA. mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 10, 2011
Tap. Clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, slight pine, and citrus. Taste is slightly bitter. Some caramel and light amounts of fruit. Medium bodied. Pretty solid. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2011
12oz bottle 6/11/11 (Binny’s Plainfield Singles Rack)-51° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear dark golden with small white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and slight caramel. Taste of the same with the malt coming out on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down very easy . Nice brew. madvike (3260) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Bottle - Pours golden amber with a thick bubbly white head. Smells pretty earthy, with big yeasty malt and some juicy citrsy and herbal hops. Taste is pretty smooth and balanced, with subdued grassy/herbal bitterness, a decent light bread malt backbone, and a subtle yeastiness. A little watery, but a fine session beer. As always with Victory, feels quality and well put-together.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2011 [3680-20110416] 12floz bottle. Sweaty spruce evergreen hops aroma has a hint of toasted flower petals. Clear, orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Oily spruce resin hops flavour has a lingering tree needle-like tea aftertaste. Medium body is just a little bitter. Lovely balance but has some strange burnt vegetable oil characteristics. DRAFT. Nose is pleasing citrus, pine, resin and toast. Flavor is very tropical with soft caramel and a touch of pine. Finish is light bitterness with a fair amount of sweetness. Carbonation is low. Clean malt character backed with plenty of American style hops that punch in the middle but leave before balancing the malt sweetness and nuttiness. Hair6a11 (1481) - Illinois, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Tap; pour is honey golden with an average white head that retains on the average side. This brew has a nice floral hop note on the nose, with a bit of biscuits and a touch of sweetness. The brew starts on the sweet side, with biscuits, honey and florals rounding it out. Bitterness is subdued. This is a nice brew mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 17, 2011
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light copper color with a 1/4" off white head. Aroma is caramel malt and both citrus and floral hops. Flavor is the same. Nicely balanced. Medium palate with high carbonation. Very nice pale ale. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 27, 2011
bottle-pours bright orange with a soapy white head with fairly big bubbles and some decent carbonation. nose is herbal, piney, green, almost earthy hop notes, doesnt smell like us hop varieties. some asprin like notes as well. flavors are grainy, lighly earthy/piney with some herbal tea like notes, grains, cereal, and some oxidization. Hmm, its not bad, but not great. definately a sessionable pale ale but par for the course for Victory these days.
