Victory Headwaters Pale ale is a light copper pour which is almost clear. The head is mostly tiny bubbles which is disappearing faster than I can type this. nose is faintly of pine needles. Taste is at first a bit restrained but broadens greatly in the midswallow. Full Pine needle hops with just a touch of malt. Not overpowering, but a very nice full flavor. Body is just slightly fizzy. Finish is just a bit warming with good bitters. A nice beer, less strong than some, but very solid with good flavor. nealblind (1867) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Orange clear pour slight white head. Aroma of tangerine citrus piney hops. Tastes mostly of fresh green hops with a significant wheaty malty background with moderate hop bitterness. Buttery mouthfeel. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2013
12oz bottle poured into a Lager glass at 43°. Color is bright gold with active carbonation and a small tight head. Aroma is hoppy giving notes of pine and citrus. It has a medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in slightly sweet with corn and citrus then ends with a mild bitterness. After taste is a lingering bitterness, a bit of the citrus and a note of pine. Overall its a nice Pale, not a stand out, just an easy drinking brew. cfrancis (3456) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 17, 2013

Pour is golden/copper with white head and little lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, very light citrus and light malts. Taste is grassy and earthy hops, light malts, a bit fruity, dry finish. Low body and medium carb. Honest pale ale.

Little thin, good tasting, I would have it again. Fairly clear with a dry aftertaste.

Enjoy by Dec 02 2013 - Pours clear dark copper colored with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramely malts, hints of crisp grassy hops, metallic notes and some citrus. Taste is malty, caramely, crisp and slightly hoppy with hints of grass and metallic notes. Finish is sweetish, malty and caramely with hints of hoppiness. Quite malty and heavy for an APA, not that refreshing or hoppy. A bit unbalanced.
I love the taste of hops and you can taste them in this brew. I downgraded the appearance score because the head dissipates so quickly as does the lacing. The head while its there is made of big bubbles like champagne not the flavorful tiny bubbles. But I do really like this beer.

Keg at Tap East Anniversary Party. Pours clear amber with minimal head. Nose of bitter hops and a solid malt profile showing some biscuit. A bit more bitter than expected on the taste. Ok
