Bottle. Light to moderate roasted grain for the malt, moderate lemon and orange for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with a hint of passion fruit. Head is average size, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is slightly hazy yet sparkling gold. Flavor starts lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. As common with all Session IPAs, it smells better than it tastes, but this one smells better than most. oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 26, 2016
Pours a cloudy golden yellow. Aromas of citrus and a little of the tropics. Smooth easy drinking with flavors of citrus, grass, and yeast. pete4999 (1445) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 8, 2016
On tap at Pizza Plant in Buffalo, NY. I hadn’t heard of this and wasn’t sure why....well that’s why, because it’s really old. Had a decent bright floral hop nose but really didn’t taste like much. Kinda watery and flavorless. I have a feeling it was probably pretty good when it was fresh. Niko100 (2980) - Chicago, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Hazy straw/gold color; Light body; Aroma of malt, floral hops, & citrus; Flavor of malt, pine hops, grain, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is fairly bitter; Easy drinking - decent. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2015
Great beer. Now this is what a session beer should be. Great flavor but not overwhelming with the hops. Piney and sticky, truly good.

A steady pour into my IPA glass produces a one-finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is a bright gold color that shows a pale, yellow-golden hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells quite floral, with lots of citrus notes, backing tropical fruit notes, and a nice, herbal leaning character that gets a touch peppery. The malt character is barely perceptible, with perhaps a hint of cracker like pale grain.
Light bodied, effervescent, and even a touch on the thin side, this makes for a very easy drinking beer that I could likely drink in large quantities. There is a lingering, herbal bitterness here, as well as just a touch of peppery herbal notes. The herbal flavors from the hops are dominant, as the beer is really quite dry, and mutes the juicy hop character that would otherwise be here. The hop-fruit notes here are subtle, with floral / tropical fruit notes, and a touch more citrus character.
Definitely quaffable, but it needs just a bit more clean, pale malt character to help stage the juicy, fruit-leaning hop notes that should be here in the flavor. Still this is enjoyable, and the hop character that is still dominant here is still quite nice.
Bottle sample at Beer & Beyond shop. Clear pale straw with a small white head. Smell - floral, perfume, sulphur, overipe fruit and grainy malt. Sweetish, flavors of lemon zest, herbs, slightly sour with dry bitter finish. Feels old. jrodooo5 (1704) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - AUG 22, 2015
If only the flavor matched the aroma! Pours pale gold w/ a big white head & plenty of lacing. The aroma is robust w/ piney hop notes. The flavor falls flat & slightly bland. It finishes quite bitter which doesn’t make it sessionable to me. Mediocre! rayaron (1927) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - AUG 22, 2015
Bottle sample at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Very clear light yellowish with small white head. Floral and grainy aroma, a bit yeasty, feels quite old. The flavor is skunky, grainy with notes of lemon and sulfur, a bit sour, lager-ish and watery. Light-bodied. Not fresh at all. hman43 (1747) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - AUG 7, 2015
it pours a golden yellow color, but is a bit cloudy. The head doesn’t last that long. It has an aroma of citrus, and a bit of bread. It has a citrus flavor with grass flavors. It is moderately bitter.
