4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
ahhh....finally ... I can’t say much more or even well enough in summary as well as rich has said but here goes
Appearance: Nice bright gold hue....the body has a good 1/3 inch white frothy head....the head is near a sappyness in that it clings to the glass walls pretty nicely....
Smell: Great sweet apple/star-fruit/mellon aroma...hints of floral pine but a great overall nose satisfication
Taste: Great sweet delicate grapefruit taste without any bitterness....not sure how they did that...jolly rancher apple bursts...pears and mellons seem to be the underlying additive....great balance and depth...no malty backbone as rich has stated...nice hop punch... not as overwhelming as I was prepared for....but I like it that way
Notes: I am amazed with this limited release...there were only 32 cases I blieve that night and I am happy to say I have one of them...great stuff
: Reviewed this one again...I realised that my score was too low after drinking many of these for different reasons...possably a fealing of awe while scribbling on a hopdevil coaster

backlog, Bottle, pours a very well carbonated golden orange with average to large sized head. Small bubbles. Smell and taste are dry hops, strong bitter pine, ash, grapefruit, and toast. Lacked balance for me and was hot in the close BeerRenter76 (1028) - Texas, USA - SEP 13, 2016
Hop wallop pours a deep yellow almost lager type body with plenty of carbonation and a thin head that left lots of heavy lace. Aroma had a few different things in it like pine, citrus and almost some floral notes, but all were rather faint. Mouthfeel was nice with a slight thickness and carbonation bite. The flavor left a little to be desired, the pine flavor bordered on skunky with a bitter finish, it wasnt bad but kinda unusual. Even though the taste was a little off i wouldn’t mind trying it again in the future. Originally rated on 11/19/08 kingaugusta (282) - Georgia, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Pours clear blonde with a modest white head. nose is the usual suspects of West Coast hops and a little sweetness. hops come on fairly strong on the front with good bitterness and some grapefruit. malt is very sweet. finish is better and somewhat sticky. Pours a nice clear, gold color with no lacing or head retention. Smells like pine and hops. Tastes very hop forward and finishes less bitter than I thought it would. Good beer, but nothing crazy.
