Pours amber-whiskey colored and mostly translucent with a one finger off white head with good retention and an aroma of citrus. Tastes of malt and the hops give a wood/oak character with mild bitterness. It has a strong medium body with moderate carbonation. The malt tastes of slightly sweet caramel. It's warming and complex. I prefer an IPA with a strong malt backbone. This is complex, well balanced and very good. guitartown (225) - SPAIN - SEP 28, 2017

For only a single IPA its a real kick in the teeth. It has the rich malt backbone usually reserved for doubles, and a bitter hop presence that is growing on me with every sip. Not bad, nothing special. rumore (951) - Rimini, ITALY - SEP 24, 2017
From the tap at 1516 Brewing, Vienna, Austria. Pours light amber, fairly transparent with medium grain white foam. Aroma is citrusy and resinous. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is bitter, but without exceeding, and with good base of malt sweetness underneath. Finish is long and bitter. weordie (1481) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2017
Copper with a foamy head. Aroma is mainly malt. Malty taste too, I'm sure it's past it's best.

12floz bottle, BBD: 08.21.2017, ~$1.75 unit price. Appears amber in color with one-finger of head in my nonic glass. Smells like candy - caramel and some cherry-berry (my terminology). There is not much to critique here, this is just a solid malty IPA - pine and caramel blend together very well over a fullish medium-body. ciocanelu (3197) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - AUG 15, 2017
Slightly hazy amber color with light beige head. Aroma has overripe orange, dried orange rind and caramel malt. Taste has caramel and nutty malts with an orange peel bitterness growing towards the finish and lingering with resiny hop flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it’s a well made, classic IPA. cwill (112) - Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Hazy dark orange pour with a thick creamy head that leaves a ton of lacing. Aromas of pine and sweet citrus, grapefruit hops and spice. The taste is intense following the nose with a hint of piney, grass bitterness, spice and a sweet malty backbone that still takes a backseat to the hops. Silky smooth and creamy mouth feel. Beer is wonderfully balanced. I love to sip and savor this one. Absolutely a world class IPA in my book.
