Thanks to Darkover for the trade. This brew is a pretty sanguine amber color with a medium and clingy off-white head. Nice lacing throughout. Aroma is heady floral hops. Medium-bodied and crisp with a near-perfect level of hops in the flavor. There is a hint of citrus (lemon/grapefruit) and grass as well. The finish falls off just a little toward the end but overall this is a very good beer.

Clear ruby-amber colour with an off-white head. Remarkable aroma of grapefruit and floral hops with whisps of malt lurking behind. Nice sweet malt opens the flavour, and is quickly overrun by the powerful citric hops. A real tongue-tingler, that's for sure, but it's mighty good.

The Cadillac of IPA's. Less hop/malt balance than some. However, if you like hops, this is the beer for you. This one is hard to beat.

Phenominally hopped nose. Proper IPA style with floral tones. Rusty golden hue with a light orangy head. Wow, what a taste incredably hoppy with hints of serbert and peach. A fantastic IPA. Has a buttery texture and a long dry, bitter finish

moderate perfumey hop aroma, pours with a copper hue, highly hopped, long dry and bitter hop finish, has an oily palate and reasonable carbonation, good IPA.

The aroma is both spicy and floral and a hint of the taste to come. Which is spicy, peppery, has light grain and then the hops kick in. Oily, spicy and bitter these hops stay on the palate for ages. A hop head delight.

Beautiful color with a strong hop aroma. Very assertive, but remains very drinkable. One of my favorite daily drinkers. I also recommend Tupper's Hop Pocket (Ale of Pils), if you can get it.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2004 This beer has little to no head and a deep amber body. Nose is heavy on piney hops, and flavor is more of the same. Obviously the hops is the dominant characteristic; big, sticky, spicy hops. It reminds me of DFH 90 min IPA. I love this beer!

One of the best American style IPAs that I have ever had. The malt is there but has to push itself forward with the hop bitterness and aromas. Amazingly, they kept this one in great balance. An IPA with american hops that you will enjoy if you like IPAs.

Nice aroma and a sexy red body. This is the beer that made me start drinking beer. It's hoppiness is extreme but perfectly balanced. Drink this beer.
