If I like an IPA, it must be good. Dark amber with a white, frothy head and strong hop aroma, hinting at yeast. Bold hoppiness produces a tingling sensation while on its way to a bitter finish. What makes this a truely awesome brew are the tempered hops, which are bold but not biting. I can't believe it, but I loved this.

It is the best American IPA I've ever had!Very well balanced-you can actually taste the malts.

This is a top of the line IPA and has changed my opinion of some others (most notably Tupper's). The deep copper color is grand and the hop nose is fantastic. You really know you're in for a treat before ever tasting it. As other reveiwers have noted, it is well balanced, leaving the perceived bitterness lower than in some other examples. A great all-round beer, but rather pricey in my area.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2010 Not an overwhelmingly hoppy IPA, but loaded with citrus flavor and containing a perfect malt/hop balance. Amber color, benefiting from its strong caramel malt notes, extremely smooth with an above average hop finish.

After all the hype over this one I was very eager to try it and did so in Montreal of all places. Nice orange colour. Flavour: hops-biscuit malt-hops. Not has huge as some U.S. IPAs; a very well balanced interpretation.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2005 My favorite IPA - awesome hop flavor with enough body for a light balance. I HIGHLY reccommend this!

The hops are strong and present, yet not overpowering at all. Very refreshing and well made beer.

This marvelous beer features big fresh hop aroma and bitterness, but a huge, soothing malt presence balances it all out. A remarkable IPA, and a cult legend among beer geeks.
