First off, this bottle says best by March 18th 2013, so its about a week past its prime. Pretty clear beer with some small particles floating around. Two fingers worth of head that stays at about one through the glass. Very nice lacing. The aroma is of spice and malt with hops there, but definitely in the background and more subtle (I presume because of the age of this beer). The taste is... interesting. Truth be told, it tastes like V8 juice to me as far as the "spice" is concerned, but without any vegetable notes (thank God). Sweet through the front of each sip, with a slightly bitter, spicy finish. Really, I get a LOT of peppery notes in HopDevil, and I dont mind. The mouthfeel is smooth, and a slight coating is left in the mouth on each sip. HopDevils a very good beer, and this ones not even fresh. I would try this again out of a fresher bottle.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at Taco Mac in Peachtree City. The appearance is a slightly cloudy copper color with a medium sized off-white colored head. The aroma is citrus hops. The taste is similar to the nose, citrus and some slight malt in the background. An excellent IPA.

Tried in bottle before, this time on tap at TNT. Unfortunately the glass it was served in had a stale B.O. aroma that took a while to clear, but once it did I got plenty of pine and sweet malts, old school east coast. Great looking clear bronze and lacing. Flavour as expected, piney and sweet, balanced well for easy drinking. Sharpish carbonation with moderate bitterness. No bells and whistles, just a clean strong IPA you could drink a few of no problem.

Nitro pour at brewery. Amber body, slight haze, soft creamy head. Malts dominate the aroma, brown bread, pumpernickel. Niterness slowly comes in st the taste, malts still prevalent. Not as hoppy as you would think based on the name. More English.

Bottle. Dark Amber in colour. Very Hoppy; very piney, very resinous oily hops; aromatic spicy hops. Fruity; citrus-lemon and bitter grapefruit. Malty; caramel, toffee, toasty malts. Very very bitter bitter hoppy throughout. Mouth puckering. Very dry bitter finish. One for hopheads. Liked this. Nice beer! (2009-05)

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a large off-white head. The aroma is medium malty - caramel, breadish - with light note of hop - pine and citric fuits. Medium body with a low carbonation, a light sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The taste is malty - caramel, toasted biscuit - with some piny hop notes, hints of peach. Overall a very clean and very balanced IPA but nothing overly exciting.
