This is unreal! Right up there with Burning River Pale Ale. Mary (2) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2002 does not count
My favorite beer for a couple years now. Perfectly hopped. Gorgeous color. Since I can’t imagine how it could possibly be better, it gets a perfect rating. Not for people who don’t like IPAs or hoppy beers. hakadriver99 (8) - USA - MAY 31, 2002 does not count
Balls to the wall, I love this beer. Give it to me in the bottle of draft. Greybeerd99 (2) - Bristol, Connecticut, USA - JUN 20, 2002 does not count
A hophead’s delight, a welcoming pungent hop aroma, a clean, amber tone, with a firm, durable head, there is no denying the dominance of the hop flavor from start to finish. A glorious example of an American style IPA. Along with some of Dave Wollner’s IPA’s at Willimantic Brewing in CT, the best IPA I’ve tasted. Just as excellent on cask.

What a pleasant surprise when I tasted this in a syracuse bar , my first time ever , has a phenomenal malt flavor ( quite like a fullers ESB with a lot of hops)
a world class IPA with a smooth aftertaste KURTO99 (18) - wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2003
