Pours a hazy, pale golden orange color with tangerine edges and a two finger pillowy white head. Good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. The glass is left coated with streaks of soapy lace.
Dank floral hop aroma with a ton of tropical and citrus fruit character along with earthy, grassy pine needle and resinous oils. Some alcohol/boozy sweetness evident in the nose as well but it’s dominated by the sweeter fruit notes, with strong hints of grapefruit, tangerine and blood orange.
Medium bodied with a slight creamy texture but still light and easy to drink with a complex hop profile that’s nicely balanced by a pale malt backbone. Insanely drinkable even with some alcohol heat/sweetness in finish. Dank, piny bitterness countered by grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel and mango sweetness. Nice malt presence underneath but it doesn’t interfere with the juicy hop flavors. Hints of caramel, toffee and biscuit toward the finish. Complex and well balanced with great hop flavor. ABV is nicely masked with only slight heat, making this beer very easy to drink. One of the better IPAs I’ve had from Victory. minutemat (5942) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2013
Keg @ Friends of Ham, Leeds. A sumptuous double IPA with a well-blended mix of pine and caramel and nice, measured bitterness. Hope to meet this beer again one day. Imaena (2328) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - NOV 11, 2013
Bottle. This is a pretty solid IPA with lots of nice hop and malt interplay. Well balanced. egajdzis (6693) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, tropical fruits, and some citrus. Taste of citrus, resiny pine, tropical fruits, and light bitterness in the finish. The best DIPA that I’ve had from Victory. Nickls (2589) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Tap. Slightly hazy vibrant golden straw yellow with a thin white head. Definitley hoppy and devoid of much sweetness in the aroma, with grapefruit featuring mostly and some pine. Flavor is quite dry, hoppy, and get touches of onion and garlic at the end. Medium to lighter body. Not bad

On tap @ Radio Maria. Pale yellow body, moderate white head. Surprisingly light, with lemon peel and pine, but pretty low- key after having just finished Stone’s Enjoy By. This DEFINITELY suffers from direct comparison (any hoppy beer would). Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2013
This one purest a darker yellow color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was tropical and pinstripes hops, with very light toast and pale malt. Flavor was similar, pretty juicy and taste. Abv is hidden well. Better ipas are coming from victory! Drake (14061) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 9, 2013
Draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of resin, herbal, earth and pine hops with faint malts. The taste is caramel and biscuit malts, pine and resin hops. Medium bodied.

Nice grapefruit, citrus, pine overtones to this taste. Aromas are very citrus. Clean crisp finish. Overall a refreshing brew. Perhaps a little better balance in the body flavor balance.
