Draft at Hawthorne’s. Pours a fairly clean yellow - gold with thin head that quickly fades and no lace. Nose of hay, bread, light spice. Medium to light body, good carbonation.
i didn’t think there was that much going one here. some aspects of his review are there, but this was afairly weakish standard representation of the style. one of only 2 or 3 average Victory brews."

Clear golden yellow, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Grass, freshly toasted bread, light citrus, and cereals. Medium to light bodied, lively carbonation, crisp finish. Solid kolsch. Lightrider (344) - Bristol, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2013
On tap at victory into a glass. Aroma is light. Taste. Is over the top sweetness over bitterness, great. Finish is smooth and crisp. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Draft at brickside grille. Pours clear yellow with minimal head. This looks like a macro lager to the Max. The aroma is minimal with some light biscuit and bread notes. The taste is light hay, light biscuit. Nothing special but drinkable. PatrickGav (23) - - AUG 20, 2013
Pale golden color. Lemon and fresh malty nose. Light body, slightly sour, lightly body.

Appearance: Clear pale straw body with a dense white head, good retention.
Aroma: Slightly tart, slightly solventy, lemon. Hints of malts.
Taste: Lemon with a slightly tart presence, straw, and hints of malts.
Palate: Light bodied, highly carbonated.
Overall: Odd solvent aromas, crisp though, but I wouldn’t want to drink this again.
Growler from JC’s, pours clear, light straw yellow with a clinging white head, nose clean and sunny citrus with pleasant light noble hops and a touch of grain. Very soft, lightly crisp medium body, citrus and bread, a bit more on the sharper/tangier side but all the more refreshing. Clean and has some zing, touch grainy-grassy, low bitterness, moderately dry. I could do with a pinch more hops but it’s nice as is. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Tap at Tyler's Durham. Light hazy golden with thick white micro-bubbled head. Really nice fresh hop nose, quite floral and fruity, pineapple and mango, even some guava, light lemon, bready malts. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, strong breadliness, hops turn more herbal and grassy, light citrus. Definitely one of the best kolsch beers I have had, American or German. Could drink quite a bit of this on a hot day. Victory knows their lagers.
