I’ve drank many hefeweizens and this offering from Victory measures up to authentic German varieties. Pours a cloudy orange with soft, white head. Aroma of yeast and coriander. Flavor is yeasty with some orange citrus notes. Very smooth and well-bodied for a hefe. I got this from the tap at Pony Bar. Loved it. Cloudy light tan. Banana and spice aroma. Dry and hoppy, seems a bit minerally, too.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a not very large white head. Aroma seems yeast/spice with banana ester notes. Med body or nearly. Spice is mild, and banana not all that powerful. Quenching it is. Lacking in flavor firmness for me. Does finish sort of wheat bitter. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 21, 2014
Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus, spice and wheat aroma.
