(1er mai 2013)

Transfer from BA reveiw on 2-5-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – Served an orange-amber colored brew with a tiny white head. The head fades fast to leave a nice level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is bready with notes of caramel mixed within. Along with these aromas is a nice blend of hops. The hop aromas are mainly of a floral nature but also contain some smells of a pine and herbal aromas as well. Taste – The taste begins with a smoother malty and lightly caramel sweetened taste with notes of a pine hop. The pine grows a bit stronger toward the middle of the taste with the sweeter and maltier flavors losing some of their ground. Lighter citrus hop and some herbal flavors join the profile more toward the end. All the flavors, when combined in the end, create a moderately bitter hop flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the light to medium side for a 7% abv IPA in terms of it creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Pretty good for the style and it made for a rather fast drinking brew. Overall – While it is nothing that is out of the park it is a nice IPA and one to try if you can find it.

JAXSON (611) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2012
At the brewpub, pours dark amber gold with a white head. Nose is pleasantly assertive, an array of hops showing pine cone, forest, English biscuit, perhaps some gentle citrus. Mouth is even and dry, long and bitter. A nice collage of American and British styles, showing the biscuit malt, just very lightly malt-forward, with good citrus/pine hop tones. Bright and dry.

On tap at Barcade. Pours a pink orange hazy murk with awesome full sheets of lacing. Notes of citrus, biscuit malt, grapefruit, wood, grains, hops, and pine. Medium to fuller bodied. Finishes very refreshing with a bitter wet wood flavor. Nice beer

Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours clear copper with a white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is caramel, citrus, floral and toast. Taste is sweety with a mild bitterness. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Crisp and dry finish. Not a super hoppy IPA but well balanced in the English style.

dogfishho (669) - Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Pours bright gold with a thick white head. The aroma is earthy and peppery... full of hops without much malt balance. The palate is better balanced however. There are notes of caramel underneat the juicy pepper and earth hop flavors. Nice IPA.

Tap. Medium hop aroma with some mild citrus aroma and taste. Not too bitter at first, but it built up over awhile and lasted quite long on the tongue.
