12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight alcohol from the barley wine. Smooth fruity and dark rich malty flavoured. Smooth mouthfeel. A clear red beer with a yellow or orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of oranges and alcohol. The flavor is rather sweet with a lot of hops, oranges, and caramel. The hops burns your palate because it is extremely hoppy. A great beer for me - but only for hop lovers. joergen (28456) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2006

Bottled (bottled 29.12.2004, thanks heemer77!). Nutbrown colour with beige small head. Leaves lace. Aroma is toffee, caramel malts, some spices and a bit of alcohol. Flavour is spicy, fruity, slightly yeasty and some caramel malts. The alcohol is hidden oh-so-well, it just shows as a bit warming feeling while drinking. In the aftertaste the alcohol gives a nice sticking feeling on the tongue, while the flavour is flowery hops and some toffee. A very wellbalanced beer!
