Bottled. A red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, smoke, and wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. joergen (28772) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 4, 2012

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of GT2. pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Caramel and Bamberg smoke in the nose. Solid body, rich sweet caramel and birch smoke with a slightly phenollic edge. Bitter, roasty finish. Not a bad take on a bamberg style smoked. 020212

Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are nice bacon, sausage, smoke, ash, caramel, fruits and hops. Great smoked. Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
Hazy brownish-amber with a thin head. The aroma leads with smoke, brown sugars, and toasty malt. Not as inviting as the finer smoked beers. Mellow smokey flavours. The underlying beer is fairly strong, with lots of caramel, and toasty malts. Could do with a touch more sugar, but a decent, fairly well-balanced brew overall. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 16, 2013
Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours an unclear, dark reddish brown body under a small, light beige head. Some lacings. Smoked, ham-like aroma with some dried fruits and hints of chocolate. Bonfire notes. A tad too fruit/dried fruity this one. The same goes for the flavor, which is nice, but too fruity. Brown sugar and ham, some wood smoke. Medium body, semi-dry and quite softly carbonated. Lasting finish. Well, shouldn’t complain I guess, but it’s not my favorite smoked in any way. 131116 jtclockwork (16876) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 2, 2012

750 c&c shared by Marcus. Pours dark and very hazy ruddy with no real head. Aroma is smokey dark fruit. Med body. Frothy, but light, carb. Flavor is a burst of dark fruit and then a lot of smoke. Might do for beef marinade.
