after a bad day of flying, t (subway), shuttle bus and walking...my mate had this one waiting for me when i walked into the hotel room in boston. you could of given me cold piss an i would have been happy...instead i got a solid what they call a pilsner that was hopped nicely compared to most youve had. drank about 3 of em. gave me that tangy flavor that cllings to the back of your tongue. all in all a good memory.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2009 Bottled. Pale golden colour, small white head. Vegetables and malts in aroma along with strong hints of peas. Vegetably malty flavour with strong hoppy finish. Lame, so lame. Bulk stuff! Either bad production that was at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, or then clearly overrated. 3 2 3 2 5

[email protected] White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, freshly cut wood, some mild notes of earth as well as some floral hopping. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather wellbalanced and refreshing to drink.

Very pale yellow, not much head. Rubbery, grassy hoppy nose. Harsh, malty flavor. Some late hoppyness and a bit of sugar. Suprise to have such a bulk from craft brewery.

Pours yellow like a Pilsner should... I only drink pilsners when only macros are available, but I WILL drink this one again. After reading a few other reviews, TheHoff said it tastes like Model, and I agree... It does kind of taste like Modelo, but that was good, too.

(12 oz bottle: Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) I definitely think this is one of the best hops-dominated, American pils out there, and its an example of how my tastes have changed over the years. I used to hate this beer; way too bitter for me back then. But while its still not my favorite pilsener, I at least can drink a bottle of this beer and enjoy it. It has a pleasant, mildly malty base, but its obvious claim to fame is the crisp, assertive, fairly bitter and grapefruity hops that dominates this beer from start to finish. The graininess is a bit more apparent in the nose, but even here, the grapefruit citrus dominates. Light bodied, and as clean and crisp as any pilsener Ive ever sampled. Medium straw in color and slightly hazy. The snow white head rises to nearly an inch before slowly subsiding to a filmy layer. A sporadic ring of lace remains behind near the top of the glass. If I were to desire a hoppy pilsener, this would probably be my choice. But the thing is, I rarely desire such a beer. If I want a pale lager, I want it to be more malty than hoppy.

Thanks to Fantomas23, pours golden yellow. Has a yeasty aroma with some spiciness. Dry up front, some malty sweetness, and crsip hop spice in the end. Excellent Pilsner.

Thanks to ClarkVV for this brew. Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with some slow small bubbles and a frothy white head that minimize. Sweet yeast (dough, sweat) and malt (hay, straw, meal) aroma with citrus hop notes. Bitter acidic citrus hop flavor with a dry yeast finish. Light and fizzy palate, dry.

Bottle, clear pale gold pour. Floral hop aroma, some light malt. Flavor is more of the hop - floral and spicy. Balanced amount of malt. Crisp, but not acidic. Very well done beer for a style that usually doesnt do much for me.

Pours a light golden color with a white fading head. Smells of bitter roses with a slight hint of citrus. Taste is an excellent floral bitter citrus. Not a big fan of pilsners, but this one holds up very well.

Nice large white head. I agree with peoples comments that the hops are quite floral, which actually makes for an OK pilsener. Not my favorite style, but i still find it crisp and refreshing.
