Bottle, # 800 for me - seems to be a decent enough beer to celebrate the occasion! Light yellow pour, small white head. Strong pils hops in aroma - probably more so than usual. Medium frothy active mouthfeel. Taste - wow, what a flavourful pils. Tons of hops true to their style roots, lots of light malt taste even though it looks really thin, this is an excellent refreshing tasty pils! Long lingering dry bitter finish. Well done Victory, not my favourite style but one I would reach for again any time of the year. charliev (4) - muskegon, Michigan, USA - NOV 11, 2005 does not count
Bottle. Good aroma fairly typical of a pilsner but a bit more hoppy. Pours a clear light golden color with a medium white head. Malty flavor, nice hop bitterness. Clean dry finish. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2005
Bottle. I’m not a Pilsener fan but I trust Victory to surprise me. Pours a clear bubbly gold with an average size lasting white head. Very nice looking. I’m not loving the aroma, there’s something about it that I don’t care for very much. The flavour is that of a Pilsener but you can actually taste hops and it’s quite tasty. This is probably hoppier than a Pilsener should be but I’m not complaining, it’s an improvement. Kudos to Victory for making a Pilsener that I really like, it’s probably the best one I’ve had -- now if they could do something about that aroma. UPDATED: NOV 3, 2005 12oz - enjoy by Jan 06, 2006 - Aroma is a bit skunky. Hops, but not the floral ipa kind. A nice malty back. Pours a transparent yellow with a medium head that leaves great lacing. Flavor is german malt with a touch of yeast balanced by the hop characteristics. Clean and crisp palate. Tasty. walleye (1102) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - OCT 31, 2005

little much on the hops for a pure pilsner. good body, color and head. very easy to drink infact I recently used it to get over a hangover without incident tennisjoel (1496) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - OCT 29, 2005
Aroma is huge for a pilsner. Average white head. Looks almost like champagne bubbles. Taste is similar to a european lager. A hop presence is ... slighty detected. Better than american macros. There is only so much you can get out of a pilsner flavor and this one does a pretty good job. Good for its style, but I think Schell from MN does an even better job. Still, one of the better of its style. This is pretty decent. Walt (2449) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2005
Pour is light bright yellow with a nice tight bubbled lasting white head...smell is strongly hoppy and grassy...light citrus notes too...taste is crisp and malty up front turning slightly bitter and quite dry in the finish...slight notes of skunk are in there still...very nice... biz82 (1327) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2005
Pours clean and clear with a frothy white head. Big floral hop aroma with a hint of vanilla. Great malt and hop flavor with some grassy notes and a hint of black current. Finishes with a satisfying bitterness. Very good. mj23 (63) - south holland, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2005
