Beautiful creamy-gold color. Spectacular taste (though a bit light). Quite sweet, but with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. A light hoppy aroma, and poured a clear golden color (typical of a good pilsner). The flavor caught me off guard -- there are more hops hiding in this beer than the aroma or appearance lead on. Definitely one to keep on my list.

Pours light yellow with a thin white head. Smells strongly of yeast with a bit of a hop kick to it. Light and yeasty with a slight bitter taste. Long everchanging aftertaste from sweet and mild to a little bitter kick at the end. Nice pilsner which is a style I dont usually care for.

BlueDevil0206 (122) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 14, 2005
Draught. Appears a light golden yellow. Perfectly clear with a small quickly dissipating head. Aroma is of malt and grassy/spicy/floral noble-ish hops with a bit of mild fruit. Flavor is doughy/malty sweet with plenty of earthy/citrussy hops to balance. Bitterness is moderate. Moderate fruity ester profile which is unusual for a lager. Body is fuller than expected from a pils and quite smooth. Great lager, with lots of hops.

Herbal, leafy tobacco and grainy malts in the nose. Clear pale gold with thin but lasting cover of bright white head. Floral, spicy hop flavour with fair bitterness and an apparent cereal malt base. Light, refreshing body with fair carbonation. Sampled at Mondial de la Bire 2005.

A very pale yellow with fine carbonation and a creamy head, the aroma is noble hops and clean malt. The flavor is a fine balance between hops malt and finishes dry with a firm bitterness throughout. A fine example of a pilsner- if only the German imports were so fresh.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2015 Re-Rate. Hop/Vegetable aroma. Hardly any head, golden. Well hopped with Pilsener and other hops. Roast malt and a bit of spice. Clean and crisp. High quality pilsener.
