Nothing hazy here, poured clear and golden... Very nice white head and some lacing. Nice hops scents. Has a light hops bite with a dry finish. Local store had a sign saying this was a Ratebeer 100 percentile... Not sure how they came up with that. I tried it anyway.

Alefest ’05 - Good solid beer for this style. Fuller flavor than most pilsners. Try their Hop Devil for an even better experience.

HoppedHead (106) - seattle, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2005
pours golden with lively co2, hop bitterness upfront, then slight maltiness follwed by a pleasent lingering hoppiness, overall a very enjoyable pilsner

UPDATED: APR 12, 2007 Golden pour small white head. Crisp malty goodness with a great clean noble hop finish, just a good tasting beer.

piscator34 (2534) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 28, 2005
Light to medium gold in colour with a fair amount of carbonation. Surprisingly strong malty aroma with some good notes of floral hops as well. Good balance between malt flavor and bitterness with loads of wildflower honey flavors as well. A bit heavier in the mouth than expected, but this is some seriously good pilsner.

Crosling (1864) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2005
Light golden in color below frothy suspended foam. Grassy aromatic hops in the nose with clean yeast and light malt elements, providing a seemlingly honeyed haystack and raw grain aroma. Maybe the label and other user’s comments fooled me, but I was expecting a powerful amount of hops in this brew, and while the hops were fairly forceful, they weren’t very flavorful or aromatic but more just extremely bitter. The malt seemed to be a bit overly sweet and thin and more importantly, just very boring.

Bottle. Pours, well, like a pilsener. Clear and yellow. Big fluffy head. Aroma was dry and hoppy. Let it sit and honey starts to appear. It’s dry, not too bitter, and mildly hoppy. After a bit, there’s a hint of some sweet malts and caramel. I’m not a big pilsener fan, but this is pretty good.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2006 Slightly over-bitter and spicy. This is a good pilsner but is not what it looks to be. Don’t judge it by its reputation try it for yourself. Be honest!
