Been looking for a bottle of this for a long time. Many people have remarked how such and such gourmet Pilsner "tastes like a Pils should." I wont say that, but I will say this is an unique impression of a Pils that is much more than valid. The hops are well woven in, keeping the beer up without being heavy. Nice spit-cream surface to the beer that remained throughout the drinking of it. Looked enticing.

Crisp pils with fruit, lemony citrus. Like a fruit wine. Good straightforward pils, for a change. Good hops. Wasnt very popular, but I appreciated for the style. Aah refreshing! Smooth, not much to look at. Thanks Mr_kimchee for the sample.

Poured a light yelllow with a large head. Aromas of grass and straw. Hoppy bitter finish. Thin and light. If Pilsners are your style, give this a try.

Bottle. Very pale golden colored beer with a good white head. Fruity/spicey hop aroma. Fruity and earthy hop flavor with good bitterness for a pils. Fresh tasting with just a bit of malt backing. Well balanced. Very good for quenching thirst, but keeps drawing you back to drink some more. Very well made.

Spicy fruity hop aroma, very belgian-like, over a perfect yellow shining body and a small bubble white head. Taste has lots of fruity belgian spice, a floral hop finish, great balance, and crisp finish. Great pils.

The second of four brews in a sampler pack from the nearby Victory brewery. A very clear greenish-gold hue with a diminutive loose-beaded head. Smells a bit like their lager, only significantly more hoppy. Very light, crisp flavor with just the right amount of hop bite before becoming IPA-like. Truly an awesome pilsener. Prost!

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2005 I suppose this is very good for a pilsner. Its hard for me to consider this very good. Theres something thats missing, that you might find in a Belgian. This pours a pale golden/yellow clear color with a medium white head. Nice grass, straw, malty aroma. Good grassy natural pilsener flavor. I drank one straight from the bottle also and it was very good. Smooth, nice.
