Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Pours hazy golden with a nice white head and tons of lacing. The aroma is a complex mix between citrus and grain.

Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head.......aroma of an old tap room, touch of citrus......taste is full bodied pilsener malt taste with a semi grassy hop note. Clean finish, crisp taste.

Sometimes in life its nice to sip a barrel aged imperial stout by the fire with snow falling. Sometimes a nice pilsner in the sun with a bbq is equally nice this beer suits the latter perfectly.

The brewery has a special pouring recommendation for this which I tried - it takes a while!! See YouTube for a demo. Smells fresh, hoppy and drinkable. Pours yellow with a finger of white head. Tastes great! Very hoppy flavour but without the whack-you-on-the head IPA bitterness than is so prevalent currently. Hops are well balanced by smooth malts and a hint of sweetness. Medium bodied which reflects the 5.3% and the length is good; you can taste this long after the swallow so a good beer to have if you need to pace your intake. Probably the best beer I have had so far this year. Unfortunately I cannot find another bottle in NZ!

This is a good Pils. Very refreshing, yet it retains a good, complex taste. Sweet yet slightly hoppy. Not sure I’ve had better in the style.

Clear yellow pour with a frothy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is mild funk with a spicy, earthy characters. Taste follows the nose with big hops up front followed by spicies and bready, malty subtleties. The finish is dry. Very nice hoppy pils

explosivedog (1177) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 25, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours yellow. Syrup, peach, very floral, something a touch metallic, lingering bitterness. It’s quite crisp and refreshing even with all that bitterness. Fine.
