UPDATED: JUN 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head that stays. The aroma is typical pilsener nothing too much here but the taste is very good with citrus and a hoppy flavor. A great session beer. Scopey (15261) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2013

(11/13/08) Bottle at friends’ house in Philadelphia. Slightly hazy golden color with a quickly-diminishing medium white head. Aroma of some grassy hops and lots of graininess. Sweetish flavor with some malt, graininess and a bitter finish with rather grassy hops. Medium-bodied. Not awful but nothing great. 5/3/6/3/11=2.8
Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Yellow gold with white head. Very impressive Pilsener, there is a good solid initial maltiness, not grainy but nice and biscuity, sharp, then the main show is plenty of lemony, citric hops, quite oily butflavoursome. Lots of bitterness, surprisingly so in this type of beer. Really pretty enjoyable, i’d love to try it on a hot summers evening, but we don’t get many of them. UPDATED: OCT 10, 2009 Bottle. Voldby Ølmesse. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Standard pilsner, how it can get so high ratings I dont understand. Maybee its because it doesnt have so many ratings.... argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 3, 2002
The hop on the label says it all -- prepare to be bombarded by the aroma and flavor of that yummy ingredient. Victory can call it a pils if it wants (and based on how it made the beer, it probably should), but the hoppiness is APA all the way. Good stuff!!
