I really like the way the hops are the focus of this, the malt and yeast support the flavors of the hops. I could drink these any time since the noble hop flavors are there and fresh with some nice herbal and floral elements. The finish is dry which keeps you coming back for more. Prima is a great example of an American Pilsner that pays tribute to German Pils yet puts their own stamp on it.

Golden color with white head. Aroma is cereals, grainy, some earthy noble hops and a touch of citrus/lemongrass. Taste is more cereals and grain, grassy noble malts, very fresh. Dry finish. Silky, slightly watery mouthfeel. Pleasant and rather long aftertaste of lemongrass and earthy noble hops. A nice, clean and crisp Pilsner - not as hoppy or intense I would have hoped for, though.

Got this in the CAN. Light yellow with really nice head. Its a pilsner with a bit more hop kick to it. Not bad for a pilsner, definitely more flavor than a lot of other pilsners I have tried. Wish the lousy distributors in my area could have got this in bottles but for some reason they are on a CAN kick.

Sampled from tap at Craft Beer Corner. Clear, golden yellow with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Fruity-grassy, herbal-spicy aroma of lemongrass, ginger, pineapple and white pepper. Fruity-grassy, herbal-spicy taste of lemongrass, pineapple, ginger and white pepper, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter, herbal-spicy and dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle from West Side. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Light skunk on the nose. Clean and crisp malt with some light grain. Nice clover honey mid-palate. Finish is smooth and crisp with lemon.

Pale golden pour with a frothy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is dominated hops with a spicy, earthy characters. Taste follows the nose with big hops up front followed by spicies and bready, malty subtleties. The finish is dry. Very nice hoppy pils

Tap @ Keg & Brew. Clear straw colour with a foamy white head. Spicy Saaz aromas, filled with grass and backing malts. Moderate, but perfectly bitter, with citrus, grass and pepper hops and solid backing malts. Good carbonation, medium bodied and dry finishing. What a great pilsner. Why cant brewers get theses styles right. Sometimes a refreshing beer is what is required, and this is right up there with the best Ive had.
