Slightly dry, with biscuity and caramel malts, some herbal grassy hops. Rather uninspired, but decently executed. ben4321 (6607) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2010

Aroma: Nice hoppy nose, citrus, grass, bready malts, crackers
Appearance: Pours a golden/yellow color, white head
Flavor: Taste is leaning bitter, nice hop presence, lighter malt presence
Palate: Smooth, nice session beer, solid feel
Victory’s attempt at a sessionable Pale Ale makes from a pretty nice beer. The beer rep sure was excited about this one, but hey, that’s his job. Anyway, I liked this beer, it’s solid. Only rater #4, obviously a pretty new one. I could see them keeping this one around, its pretty good.
Tap at Victory. Pours a ridiculously light golden - very clear- and nice lasting pure white head- some lace. Aroma is mostly spicy earthy and grassy hops with a light citrus kick- very light crackery dough malts. Flavor is also pretty light overall- esp for 5.5%? Light crackery malts, ok earthy grassy citrus hops, and a very very clean lightly bitter finish. Seemed too refined, and too dumbed down- lower on hops and malt than expected or wanted. Smooth and easy drinking though. obxdude10 (2358) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2010
The Pursuit Pale is an enjoyable and delicious pale ale, but nothing really too exciting or to write much home about. It pours an amber color with a generous off-white head that leaves some great lacing around the sides of the glass. The nose is full of hops, earth, pine, a hint of grapefruit, grass and some earth. The body is silky smooth. This is a prime example of a session beer. One could really sit at a bar or at home or wherever and enjoy pint after pint of this. The flavors are decent, but nothing really outstanding. The Pursuit features a nice hoppy tone, with some caramel malt, bread and citrus flavors. The finish is tad dry as well.
