Draft at BrewRiver. Just labeled "Victory Ranch Double IPA" and the bartenders had no idea that more than one of these existed. Looks like a lot of other people are having the same problem. They just got the keg this past week, so I’m assuming it’s the second batch. Pours a deep golden color with a centimeter of white head that settles into a ring. Aroma of juicy citrus and tropical fruits, sweet malts, herbs, honey, and pine resin. Flavor is the same but comes together better. Medium-bodied, with a citrusy, resinous, juicy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good DIPA. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Draft at uber. Garlic and onion on the nose. Some pine as well. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel and garlic mid palate. Long dry garlicky finish. bvc (1242) - Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Draft at brouwers. Crystal clear darker brownish copper tinted golden with uniform white head and minimal lacing. Very balanced hop nose, more piney and floral with hints of citrus. Malt is faint and on the pale side, adds a slight doughy character but the malt bill supports the hops here, as it should be. Piney citrus hops up font, not overly aggressive but they build in a way that with the yeast you get a bit of a dry spice bittering finish. The 9% is well hidden...super drinkable and nice. On tap at Tap and Mallet. . Pours a orange amber color with a white foam head. Aroma of grapefruit, earthiness and some caramel underneath. Has a big sweet citrus taste with a nice earthy hop hit and a sticky finish. I enjoyed this alot.

Had on tap at Ale House for $7.50. A bit steep if you ask me. Pours a beauteous coppery orange-crimson which sustained a trim off-white head. Aromas of American malt, limeade, guava purée, white wine lees, pine bark, caramelized onions, powdered sugar, soil and golden raisins. Tasty piney, floral and hoppy, with grabbing notes of chrysanthemum, mint, lavender, cotton, hops and plastic. Limes, pine needles, wood rosin, earth and pickles by swallow. Me likey!

On tap at Victory Brew Pub. Pours clear copper with two finger white head. Citrus, floral, caramel, pepper. High bitterness. Mild sweetness. Moderately heavy body is a bit acidic. angrypirate06 (1388) - Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Draught. Amber pour with long lasting white head. Nose is beautiful citrus, pine, soap. Flavor tastes like a handful of hops smells. Soap, citrus, pine, finishes with a taste of eating malt after mashing. Dry finish. Awesome fucking beer! jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Draft at Olympic. Huge amount of hop bitterness. Loads of citrus and tropical fruits. Very strong caramel malt backbone. Probably one of my new favorites from Victory. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Draft on tap at Three Floyds (Munster, IN). An interesting addition to the Guest list at the pub. Pours a deeper amber dark pour, gentle haziness, darker body. A bit dulled, the glow is subtle orange and amber. A frothy tannish head atop sits down and laces small, small ringer around overall. Aromas preach that Centennial feel, lemons and florals, weedy earthy hops and gentle caramel malts, bread, and biscuits. Firmly dry if a bit uninspiring overall. Touches of bread, gentle toastiness. Initial is medium bodied, firmly dry on the palate. Earthy hops, dry and a bit spicy. Some citrusy lemon, grass and florals, weedy (the garden variety, like dandelions), some toasty thicker malts. Bready, a touch of sweet caramel. Middle shows some thickness, firm dryness but uninspiring. It quickly dawns on me that this is a Double IPA, a firmer malt body, a good hopping albeit a bit dull. Dry and bitter backend, earthy and florals. Touches of lemon. A solid DIPA if lacking a true hop character or oomph overall. Meh. Ok. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Had to have been this version. Big assertive centennial hop nose, grapefruit and orange, floral and danky notes. Pale malt with a hint of biscuit and caramel. Pours golden orange with a nice creamy head. Flavors of citrus hops grapefruit and floral notes, ale malts with very light sweetness a touch of biscuit. Lingering citrus pith bitterness with some moderately chewy resins. Balanced hiding 9% very well. Good shit.
