Draft at Mad Mex Robinson. Pours light orange with an inch of white foam. Pine and floral notes on the nose. Paired it with some spicy cheese dip which may explain why the taste is so subdued. I get a few pine notes but they’re really struggling to express themselves. Finishes clean without a lot of booziness. Solid overall but disappointing for style. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon grass and pine. Pours bright orange with a nice blanket on top. Taste is beautifully bitter with citrus rind and grass. Truly great IPA. jrodooo5 (1725) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Pours copper w/ a white head. Aroma is sweet hops. Taste is very light & smooth for 9%. The hops are fairly subdued which makes this beer quite drinksbe but not really remarkable. Protypical double ipa. HogTownHarry (7077) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
March 16, 2012 - on draught at Cole’s. Bright gold, bubbly, clear, with a smallish fizzy off-white head. Aroma of ... alcohol ... maybe sharp and floral Belgian yeast (ketone?). Taste - very nice, fruity and floral, not as boozy as it smells (it’s strong, but not huge). Light body, decent carbonation, dry, with a building back-palate bitterness, still left me with a Belgian IPA impression. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 9, 2012
pour is a dark orangish copper with a light tan head. Nose is rather grainy, light doughy malt and some faint tropical fruit hops. Taste is lightly grained with notes of biscuity malt. It’s got a bit of sweet hops. Pineapple, grapefruit, some citrus. Rather smooth balance and very bitter dry finish. Well carbonated crisp and clean. Of course well attenuated and smooth.

A very strange fruity aroma that I think was pineapple. I don’t know how they got that but it grew on me. After a few sips I was hooked. cubs (10721) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Tap @ the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Titled "Victory Ranch Double IPA" so I’m not positive this is a correct spot for the review. Anyhow... Porus a clear orange appearance with an off white head. Woody, earthy, dull herbal aroma. Chewy, spicy, orange fruity flavor that’s a bit boozy. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Growler from the Brewery. Pours a clean dark amber with thick beige head and lacing. Notes of resin, pine, citrus, pineapple, caramel malt. Really fresh and delicious. Piney up front with a pineapple, citrus finish. abcfan (928) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Very nice brew. Pours yellow amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is zesty with citrus and pine hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Finishes very clean with a slight hop bite.
