Tap. Pours clear amber with a small beige creamy head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and spruce. Flavor is spruce, herbal, pine needles, light caramel malt backbone. Light sweetness, medium bitter finish. Well masked ABV from start to finish. Nice one. malrubius (2984) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 4, 2012
On tap at Melt Bar and Grilled for $3. Cloudy like a hefe with lace and head. Sweet vanilla and fruity hop araom. Peach apple and caramel and vanilla sweet fruitiness with assertive piney grassy hop finish. Pretty good. Extremely complex, but not necessarily in a good way. gerbewa (253) - - AUG 25, 2012
Poured a golden amber color with a lot of frothy head. Very strong hops but not too boozy for a double and very drinkable. Good beer. On tap from beverage world. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Sample at House of Beer in Orlando. This beer pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall. italarican (1549) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2012
On tap at my farewell to NY party at Blind Tiger. Medium gold pour. I’m stealing it from Jay: slightly catty aroma. Stinging finish, slightly spicy, and incredibly piney.

Entering here, but not sure it’s this is the right entry. Bartender explained that "R" and "S" are first initials of areas in Germany where hops come from. Now they are experimenting with the Ranch IIPA same way they do with their Braumeister: different hop combinations. translucent copper, thin white ring, large bubbled, considerable lace. Nose very bitter grapefruit and orange, light pale malt. Flavor is saltier, more caramel, heavy orange with light grapefruit, citric bitterness in the finish.
This one is bright yellow, aroma is a bit some what faint, the flavour is fairly bitter and the taste is so as well, not too bitter but it was a bit flat, needed a bit more life for me
