Draft at Capones. This one blew me away. Poured a very nice looking orange/copper body with an average frothy white head. Aroma of sweeter citrus, caramel, hop syrup, slight honey topped toast. Awesome palate that is fuller and syrupy with stronger carbonation that finishes sweet. Flavor of citrus rind, yellow grapefruit meat, slight bit of earthiness. This one is great. On tap at Capones. Pours an amber color with white foam head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Sweet citrus taste with a nice hop hit. Solid. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden orange color with yellowish hues and a half finger white head that quickly settles into thin ring. Spotty lacing.
Sweet citrus hop aroma balanced by earthy grass notes, tropical fruit and pale malts. Hints of orange peel, grapefruit and mango as well as some biscuit, graham cracker, grass and pine.
On the fuller end of medium-bodied with a decent balance of dry/bitter and sweet fruit notes. Hints of earthy grass and pine provide a nice balance to the sweet fruit and booze. Citrus/orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple and mango with earthy/soily pine, biscuit and graham cracker. A bit hot/boozy in the finish. ABV could be masked a bit better but it’s still decently drinkable.

Location: Draft at Blind Tiger, 7/23/12
Aroma: The nose is full of hops, citrus, pine, resin, fruits, and a little caramel
Appearance: The pour is clear caramel-orange with a small white head and mid-plus lace
Flavor: The taste has some light sweetness, but mostly it is medium-heavy bitter
Palate: The body is mid-full, with a smooth and dry texture, and average-soft carbonation
This is some pretty solid stuff. I enjoyed it, it just works pretty well. There really isn’t too much to add to this one beyond that.
Tap @ Michael’s Bistro in Charlottesville (note- they were not sure that their keg was actually the "R" so I’m guessing). Amber with creamy head. Smells like grapefruit pith and cat piss and slightly reminiscent of rubber. Tastes like grapefruit and flowers. Nice bitter finish with a bit of the floral following through. Not too sweet.

A golden amber DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a smooth caramel malt with loads of piney floral hops, pungent and classic, citrus notes. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with nice floral hops, piney, melding well with the nice alcohol warmth, rich and bitter. On tap at Barcade, July 1, 2012.
