Pours burnt orange with a substantial white head. Aroma is grapefruit, toast and I also got a hint of tropical fruit...mango. Taste was bitter with a touch of sweetness. Medium bodied with s sticky texture. Alcohol was very well hidden, refreshing for a double. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2012
On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Appearance is golden orange with a frothy white head. Grapefruit, orange peel, bread, and biscuit in the aroma. Taste is citrus hops, mango, caramel, light grass, and stale bread ending lightly bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not bad. jeff789 (1423) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Clear golden amber quite lively nicely paced tannish head... Lively, medium full bodied... Very fruity aroma, then a lightly fruity big pine flavor that has an aire of medicinalness...

Pours clear gold with a medium white head...good lacing and lively. Aroma has mango and orange...some grapefruit. Flavor has mild mango but is quickly dominated by piney notes...a bit medicinal. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is very bitter...grapefruit/pine...a bit medicinal. GrandpaSteve (10) - Downingtown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Hop palette is Chinook bitter, and beautiful. Needs a little something to add aroma though. I wish I brought a growler to get filled.

On tap at Victory. Served in a sample glass. Chinook version. I can certainly tell. Earthy and a bit dank and all around slightly harsh. Super bitter and dry. Chinook heavy.
