Draught...Mostly clear orange pour, white head. Very catty hoppy aroma, pale malt, and more hops. More malt forward flavor, lots of hops too, catty, earthy and danky hop flavor. Boost is well hidden. Tmoney99 (14978) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Tap sample shared b3shine. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. alexsdad06 (10818) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - FEB 19, 2014
Draft at Dutch’s shared by b3shine. Pours a clear golden color with a hint of orange and a small white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice dank citrus hop profile, a splash of resin, caramel and toasted bread. Good drinkability with moderate bitterness. Solid. b3shine (9150) - Indiana, USA - FEB 19, 2014
Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks good; a transparent vibrant golden orange with foamy creme head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; big Simcoe hops with a sweet but balanced pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 19, 2014
On tap at Dutch’s. Like the keg that drowland mentioned, this keg also clearly has "SIM" stamped on it. Clear golden orange color. Very nice thin off white head, with good retention. Leaves good thicker splotches dots and ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body... A nice full mouthfeel, but it doesn’t weigh down the palate. Not overly dry, but no lingering stickiness in the finish. Very smooth and easy drinking. Awesome simcoe hop aroma.. Plenty of that pine, light resin.. Love it. It’s got a great hop aroma, but what really makes this impressive I think is that big malt balance, which many DIPAs get all wrong. The malt in this is just about perfect. Light caramel, kind of spicy, bready biscuity malt provides just the right amount of sweetness and body to bite into, to carry the hops through. Light to moderate sweet, moderate to bigger bitter taste overall. Very smooth, lighter, kind of creamy carbonation, finishes lightly dry at the very end. Very swig gable. The perfect 9% DIPA that works fine in a full pint format. I was skeptical at first as the keg arrived with no date on the collar, but every time I sample this I’m surprised again by how intensely well-rounded and delicious it is. Very good.

On tap at Capones. Pours a medium amber color with a one finger beige head that retains well and falls to a ring. Dank, musty hop aroma with some sweet smelling malt backing. Taste has a foundation of caramel malt, then the hops hit with grapefruit, grapefruit peel, pine resin and some earthiness. Finishes with lingering pine resiny bitterness. Smooth and very crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
