Pours dark golden color with large white head. Strong aroma of straw and barnyard. Smooth finish, great medium barley malt flavor. Very drinkable. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Tap. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body, almost completely see through, with a small fizzy white head. The nose is light bready malt with some slightly sweet honey notes. The flavor is lightly bready and doughy pale malt with some minimal hop bitterness on the back end. Finishes with some lingering doughy malt. Light bodied and easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Decent easy drinking Helles Bock. Theydon_Bois (19506) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2013
Keg at Victory, Downington, 27/11/13.
Clear pale golden with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is soft bread dough, citrus, hint of soap, lemon rind.
Taste comprises toasted malt, pale malts, sugars, lemon sherbet, bread dough, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale with sweet notes.
Drinkable bock but lacks any great depth or punch. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 30, 2013
tap at brewpub. Transparent copper, moderate effervescence, thin white film head. Plain nose, soft pretzel with orange zest following. Really subdued yet spicy flavor, grainy sweetness reveals a peppery dose of wet earth and skunk. Finish is more grain, dry and earthy, crackling. Metallic in the finish and too muted.

Golden color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of bread, citrus, some toasted malts, grass, faint floral hops. Taste of citrus, earth, spicy hops, toast, light toffee, and a dry finish. Cybercat (5834) - Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Comes out of the tap a clear golden with a nice, fine-bubbled ivory head. Aroma is mainly pear with some apple and malt notes. Rich flavor delights with pear and apple tones plus a malty undertone that supports them well. Fruity sweetness is strong but not cloying. Lively, tingly texture leaves behind a persistent fizz. A good way to say farewell to summer. pilgrimoutlaw (888) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2013
On tap at brewery. Light gold two finger head. Grass citrus biscuit. Moderately sweet. Light bitterness. Crisp body. Irritates my palate like other bocks. callmemickey (4543) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2013

Tap at speakeasy. always fun to see and try and new Victory beer and I
Was told that this is the only keg of this in the southeast. Word. And I got to add a new Victory beer--maybe it’s an alias, but I did do a bit of cross-refing before adding this to the database. Pours a clear yellow golden urine CPR with a light white lace. Nose is grassy and bock-y, very clean and fresh. Flavor is super on point as well. This may be the best bock of any kind I have ever quaffed. Victory does it again. I NEED to make it to
Downingtown soon so I can try the rest of the lager fleet. This hits the spot. Yes, I will have another.
